If you’re interested in Apple’s Beats products, you may be able to get your hands on them a little early. Apple is allowing Canadian shoppers to pre-order the upcoming Beats Fit Pro earbuds.
The Beats Fit Pro headphones are said to feature Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and are expected to cost $249 in Canada when they eventually go on sale sometime in 2022.
Beats is a major player in the headphone market and has been a popular accessory for Apple products for many years. Apple acquired Beats back in 2014 for $3 billion. Since then, it has focused heavily on its integration with other products like the HomePod smart speaker and AirPods wireless headphones.
The earbuds can connect to both an iPhone and an Apple Watch without a pairing code. Apple says that the wireless earphones can be used for up to eight hours of listening time and can be charged back up to 50 percent in just 15 minutes. They feature custom-designed Apple W1 chip technology, as well as a personal assistant button that allows you to access Siri or other voice assistants without having to touch your iPhone.
